Yes, after a (too) long hiatus, Forever-Amy is BACK! And, we’re better than ever (: As you can see, we have a brand spanking new layout, thanks to Cristy @ D|S. We’ve also got a new Gallery Layout, thanks to Kim @ RocktheArt. I mentioned a few months ago we got a very generation donation from Micky including over 200 pictures of Amy, which I have began adding to the gallery! A new rewind will be up momentarily too.

I’ve also got good news about the forum. We have an official forum to Forever-Amy and it is located here. Please don’t hesistate to join! It’s a great way to chat with other fans of Amy and her band! I deleted the old forum and created one on our domain so it’s a whole lot easier to access!

One more thing; the video vault. I’ve already gotten a donation from Devin @ gailkimsource, so I PROMISE the video section will be up soon! If you have any videos of Amy/Lita/Luchagors you’d like to donate, FEEL FREE. The more I find/the more you give, the sooner the vault is up for you all to watch & download your favorite matches/promos/music videos and etc! Full credit will be given, as with anything you donate.

Diva Wrestling Site Diva Dirt previously held a competition with 16 women from the WWE within the last ten years. After countless voting, our very own Amy ‘Lita’ Dumas beat out 15 other women to be crowned THE Diva of the Decade! Congratulations, Amy!!

Yes indeed, your Woman of the Decade is Lita! The 4-time Women’s Champion helped revolutionise women’s wrestling in the WWE with her unique wrestling style and looks. Far from the ‘cookie cutter’ representation of the WWE Divas, Lita was the anti-Diva for many fans and perhaps this explains her popularity with fans to this day. Her punk-rock attitude and style set her apart from the other Divas while she was also daring in the ring. During her time in WWE, Lita formed alliances with The Hardy Boys, Edge and Kane while also competing in the first ever Divas steel cage match and main eventing Raw with Trish Stratus. After 7 years, Lita retired at Survivor Series in 2006.

And with more than 5000 votes cast throughout the past 4 weeks, Lita beats 15 other women to become your Woman of the Decade.

In the final round, Lita edged out fellow finalist Trish Stratus with 56% of the vote.

So there you have it. The search is over. You have crowned Lita as your most influential Diva or Knockout of the past 10 years — your Woman of the Decade!

Forever-Amy would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas! If you don’t celebrate, then Happy Friday (: 2009 is almost over!

Rumors seem to keep swirling that ‘Lita signs with TNA’ or ‘Lita returns in 2010′. Well, I’m telling you right now that that is NOT happening. Amy has said OVER AND OVER, she is DONE with professional wrestling. She has retired and moved on from from it, and she is happy with her band. Please, do not fall for these ‘rumors’. It’s just liars wanting to get your hopes up.

Thanks to Kim for making Forever-Amy a brand new layout and thanks to Cristy for coding it! Both did an excellent job on it (: I’ve gotten a very generous donation from pricelesspain.com’s Micky, who graciously donated over 300 photos of Amy to us, so I’m currently working on uploading them all. Keep checking the gallery to see what’s been added and I’ll try to make as many updates here as I can (:
