I just wanted to remind everyone if it is NOT listed under our Official Links section, then you should not add, follow, or friend it. I know you guys would love to talk to Amy but the best and only place to do that would be through her personal MySpace page. She does respond, trust me. I’ve talked to her, as have others, many times. ALL others are 100% fake and should be REPORTED instead of added!

Also please remember that NONE of The Luchagors OR Amy are on Twitter! I will gladly let you know when/if they are, but unless you hear it from us or Amy herself, it’s NOT real! However, you can follow this site on Twitter for constant updates on both Amy & the band!

Diva-based news site Divas of Destruction recently posted an article on Amy about how they believe she was WWE’s greatest Diva. Here’s an excerpt of the article:

Dissecting Lita’s WWE run, here are the reasons why she was the greatest.

First was her charisma and popularity. She arguably was the most popular diva of WWE. During her run with Hardy Boyz, there were a lot of Lita signs from the audience. Although she suffered an injury and lied low, she still was popular when she came back, being the top babyface of the roster. You could hear larger pops from her although Victoria (face run) was the champion then.

Second was her style of wrestling. Yes, she was sloppy in the ring especially in her last years. However, she was still able to give us great matches because she’s good at carrying her opponents and vice versa. She had amazing top-rope dives during her time with Hardy boyz and impactful arsenals during her return. Her moonsault may be very dangerous but it was always impactful and seemingly real. Her ddt was better from some guys because she executes it greatly as well as her opponents could sell it greatly. According to old friends, her wrestling stance as of 2003-2006 was like that of Moolah. accessAtlanta recently conducted an interview Luchagors’ guitarist Shane Morton, who plays Professor Morte’ in his theater production the Silver Scream Spookshow.

Of all the Plaza Theatre’s classic film-inspired events, the Silver Scream Spook Show has become one of its top draws each month. And with the Spook Show’s 4th anniversary and 100th show looming, its gregariously ghoulish denizens are taking a hiatus for the rest of the year following the July 31 show, featuring a showing of “Godzilla on Monster Island.”

Rather than retreat to Monster Island for a fiendish furlough, however, Morte, Retch and the rest of the Spook Show crew will begin working on episodes of a potential Spook Show TV series directed by Plaza owner Jonny Rej.

“It’s like ‘The Munsters’ meets ‘Pee-wee’s Playhouse,’” says Shane Morton, who plays Morte. “The premise is that Morte and Retch are real and you’ll see their trials and tribulations as they prepare for the Spook Show at the Plaza.”

With animated segments by Mark Butler of Emmy-winning Secret File Animation, “The Monkeys”-like musical segments featuring tracks from last year’s Spook Show CD and other expansions of Silver Scream’s variety show format, Morton says the TV show “still has the essence of the Spook Show, but more polished.”

The Spook Show will return to the Plaza in October for its anniversary show, and this weekend’s edition will be even more over-the-top than usual. In the interim, Spook Show spin-off Splatter Cinema will take over the last Saturday of each month with Splatterday Night Live, a salacious sketch comedy show followed by screenings of slasher and exploitation movies.

This could mean our lovely Amy will be returning to TV! She stars alongside Shane’s Professor Morte in the Spookshow as SpooksModel Pandora.

I’m pretty sure if this does work, the show will broadcast on [adult swim]. Shane has worked with them on countless occassions and their HeadQuarters are right in Atlanta.

The Silver Scream Spookshow is a half-hour comedy bit that is performed the last Saturday of every month at the Plaza Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia. For those of you who don’t live in Atlanta or have never had the chance to attend the show, this is great news!
