Last night, former WWE Diva and close-friend of Amy, Trish Stratus tweeted on her Twitter account (@trishstratuscom) the following:

“Guess who’s coming to stay with me this weekend? Only my biggest wrestling rival…we got some ‘bidness’ to take of!”

Slam Wrestling is now reporting that LAW (Live Wrestling Audio) recently made a huge announcement that their in-studio guests this Sunday would be none other than Amy and Trish, themselves. Here is the full article:

Earlier this week, The LAW (Live Audio Wrestling) made a big announcement that this Sunday’s in-studio guests would be Trish Stratus and her long-time rival and close friend Lita (aka Amy Dumas).

SLAM! Wrestling contacted Trish to ask her more about this rare appearance. “We have a few meetings in Toronto about us possibly working together on a project,” Stratus teased.

It has also been whispered that Trish and Amy have been invited as special guests to “Santo Sangre: A Dark Night of Lucha Libre,” which takes places at the M2 Gallery At Burroughs (639 Queen St West). This will be El Hijo del Santo’s first-ever wrestling appearance in Canada and will also feature the El Lucha Monstruo Art Show.

Of course, we’re wondering if there is a connection somewhere in all of this… Looks like we’ll have to watch Trish’s Twitter page (@trishstratuscom).

Paul Heyman’s website, Heyman Hustle, recently posted some photos of Amy from the Wizard World Convention. Those photos have already been added to the gallery.

Amy Dumas made several live appearances over the weekend at the Chicago Wizard World convention, and Hustle photographers Hollywood Charlie and Bob Mulrenin were on hand to capture these elusive images of the sensational former WWE Diva.

“Amy was great as always,” Mulrenin stated, “and was really excited to pose with (TNA Knockout) Christy Hemme, Tara (aka Lisa Marie Varon, former WWE “Victoria”), and her old friend Lilian Garcia.”

Hollywood Charlie added, “You could tell Amy is more at ease talking with fans now about her time in wrestling. Just last year, she was cordial, but wanted to talk about her music. Now she just goes wherever the conversation takes her. She looks great, and was very accessible to the fans.”

Diva-based news site Divas of Destruction recently posted an article on Amy about how they believe she was WWE’s greatest Diva. Here’s an excerpt of the article:

Dissecting Lita’s WWE run, here are the reasons why she was the greatest.

First was her charisma and popularity. She arguably was the most popular diva of WWE. During her run with Hardy Boyz, there were a lot of Lita signs from the audience. Although she suffered an injury and lied low, she still was popular when she came back, being the top babyface of the roster. You could hear larger pops from her although Victoria (face run) was the champion then.

Second was her style of wrestling. Yes, she was sloppy in the ring especially in her last years. However, she was still able to give us great matches because she’s good at carrying her opponents and vice versa. She had amazing top-rope dives during her time with Hardy boyz and impactful arsenals during her return. Her moonsault may be very dangerous but it was always impactful and seemingly real. Her ddt was better from some guys because she executes it greatly as well as her opponents could sell it greatly. According to old friends, her wrestling stance as of 2003-2006 was like that of Moolah.
